I like writing, especially fiction and political commentary. I am usually very succinct in my writing which makes it difficult sometimes when writing fiction; not so many descriptive words, etc. This current political environment has given me much to write about and actually led me into writing my first work of fiction. Using my character and beliefs as my guides I’ve written a story published in three books that relates the lives of a family in a small rural Virginia town and how they grow, change and affect change in their community. 

I am retired military and have worked a number of jobs since then not because I didn’t like the work but they paled when compared to my career in the Navy. I am hoping my writing takes off and gives me an outlet to express my character and ethics.
